Automotive
An intelligent transportation system, the Move Cybercar is a new concept for mobility and an innovative response to public transport demands. It is a silent vehicle, with "zero emissions" that operates autonomously in a dedicated route. The vehicle's roof is prepared to integrate solar panels for increased autonomy. Large windows allow for comfortable abundant daylight inside and a double door provides wheelchair transport. The interior can also adapt to different passenger flow by using foldable seats. The Cybercar is the result of a successful multidisciplinary collaboration involving Almadesign, Mobipeople, Critical Move, Pedro Nunes Institute and Siemens. The product was awarded the Green Good Design Award in 2010 and the BID, also in 2010.
