The new Levante III is the evolution of the successful Levante model which main goal was to increase capacity and passenger comfort through innovative technological solutions. The exterior design follows the new line of Caetano´s design DNA, evolved into a more expressive and contemporary language, but preserving a familiar resemblance to the previous model so it can be easily recognizable. The interior layout was designed according to user’s requirements, maintaining the inclusive design guidelines for PRM frontal access. A new dashboard was designed around the ergonomic needs of the driver while preserving the formal language of entry. The leather seats, new luggage racks, the exclusive designed multisets as well as a floor-mounted heating system, improve passenger’s experience to a new level of comfort, while the new toilet position enabled easier maintenance for second life vehicles. The new Levante III improves operation as well as service quality, being adopted by one of the main operators in the UK – National Express.
