The Spark project is the result of cooperation with CODI, a longtime partner of Almadesign, who challenged the studio to design a healthcare product for the company Shamir. The product consists of an accessory kit that allows the evaluation of the specific needs of each user in order to customize the lenses and frames of spectacles. Based on an I-PAD with specific software and hardware developed by CODI, the product allows to quickly and easily measure with extreme precision all the parameters necessary to the customization of the solution for each client. Almadesign colaborated in several aspects, including the hardware (casing of I-PAD and camera interface design), the packaging, instructions for use and the software user interface.
